How to Reach the Aosta and Monterosa Ski paradises:

The most convenient way to access this alpine paradise is by flying into Milan Malpensa or Bergamo Orio al Serio airports. Upon arrival, I'll be waiting to whisk you away in a spacious Fiat Doblò, accommodating up to four skiers and ample gear. Your return journey will also depart from the same airport.

Monterosa freeride ski – DAY1: Gressoney Ski Resort

Ease into your Monterosa adventure with a gentle introduction to the Gressoney slopes. Explore the diverse terrain on both sides of the valley, and if conditions permit, dip your toes into the world of freeriding with a guided descent.

Technical note: The Gressoney ski area offers a lot of freeride options, from easy to difficult, and many are easily accessible from the different lifts. Helicopter rides to more than 16 different destinations/peaks start from here.

Monterosa freeride ski – DAY2: Alagna Ski Resort

Embark on an exhilarating 2000-meter vertical descent from the Punta Indren cableway station to the charming village of Alagna. Ski the pistes or venture into the off-piste powder, culminating in a delightful meal at the historic Unione restaurant, known for its authentic 1930s ambiance.

Technical note: The Alagna ski area offers the longest and highest freeride ski descents. An absolute must is the amazing freeride tour starting from Punta Indren to Alagna town… a unique experience! Watch the video below…

Monterosa freeride ski – DAY3: Champoluc Ski Resort

Connect with Gressoney via the Bettaforca pass and discover the unique charm of Champoluc. Explore its extensive ski area, savor Aostan cuisine in the main town, and immerse yourself in the local “Patua” dialect, a testament to the region’s rich cultural heritage.

Technical note: The Champoluc ski area offers the best deep snow descents for snowy days… a perfect solution in case of bad weather or poor visibility.
