Hi people! I’m Roberto Iacopelli

Professional mountain guide in the Dolomites with 35 years of experience.

I was born in Bolzano (in the center of the Dolomites) in 1963. I began skiing very early, as every kid of the Dolomites, at the age of 8 years. At the same age I began my summer activities in the mountains, with little groups of school friends to search for unexploded munitions of the first world war in the mountains near my home… an extremely dangerous passion of my generation of kids. In winter we went off pistes in deep snow to try big jumps… Fortunately I survived, and I began to climb the Dolomites at the age of 15 years, and then at 18, I started ski-mountaineering.

The following 20 years, I climbed and skied in all Alps and on different continents and then, as a logical evolution, I became an I.F.M.G.A. mountain and ski guide.

I have written 4 guide books about the rock-climbing in the Dolomites, and one (the last) about the ski-mountaineering in the Tyrol. Now with my 35 years of experience, I am at your service, to organize customized ski travels through the Dolomites and Alps.

I coordinate a little group of mountain guides, friends of long date and experienced professionals, where we collaborate at level of parity and in active and dynamic form to answer at every request. This is the best way to offer a creative and quality service!
